WDS offers international, multidisciplined tunnelling capabilities specialising in both micro-tunnelling and large diameter tunnelling services for infrastructure development and pipeline construction.

We specialise in the construction of tunnels for:

• Urban sewer systems, main sewers and reticulation sewers
• Pipe crossings under roads, rail, airport runways and rivers
• Shaft construction for access chambers and pump stations

WDS has extensive experience working in remote locations throughout Australia and the Middle East where communications and delivery logistics are difficult.  Through the breadth and depth of WDS, we are able to offer a total package solution to clients.

Our core business is the construction of tunnels and associated facilities, with the ability to tunnel pipes with an internal diameter range from 300mm to 2,200mm.  We utilise our own fleet of state of the art tunnel boring machines to provide a cost effective service which is backed by extensive experience and a dedicated workforce. Our experience and fleet gives WDS the option to micro-tunnel in almost any ground conditions from sand, clay, running sand, marine mud and rock with compressive strengths to over 200 MPa.
