Mining Camp Bore Pump System: Empowering Energy Storage

Divergent Engineering is developing a Battery Management System (BMS) for a Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) employed in both on and off grid applications. Our team is also involved in the design, construction, commissioning and testing for this energy renewable system that utilises solar, wind and vanadium. Divergent Engineering's expert team rised to the occasion to craft an innovative, high-quality solution that seamlessly meets our client's specific needs.


Cherratta Village, Karratha: Energising Communities

Our team is playing a crucial role in the development of a Battery Management System for Cherratta Village in Karratha. Our job scope involves the engineering of a BESS system which supports an EV fast charger. To facilitate optimal integration, we programmed and designed the three-phase inverters to operate seamlessly with batteries to be integrated to other grid-tied renewables. The design includes development of a control interface that allows the customer full control of the inverter’s power and reactive power setpoints which results in the seamless integration of the network. Our dedicated professionals are entrusted with the crucial tasks of system installation and commissioning.


Fast Charger: Charging Ahead

Divergent Engineering's pioneering spirit isn't confined to mining applications alone. Our involvement in a Fast Charger project exemplifies our versatility. Tasked with developing a battery integration system to support two Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFBs) for an EV fast charger, we have expanded our horizons to enable rapid and efficient charging for electric vehicles. The scope of this venture encompasses intricate design considerations and interfaces for enhanced communication and connectivity, ensuring a holistic charging experience.


The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) features elements such as VRFBs, battery inverter systems, and intricate communication systems, our design also boasts an interface port, seamlessly connecting system controllers via Modbus/TCP. This fusion of technology forms the bedrock of energy transformation.
